Hi there guys. Im a classical piano instructor at LA Tech. I have currently hold a DMA degree(Doctorate of Musical Arts), and I have to say that the stuff that you guys are putting out is quite fanatic. I recently saw you guys at the House of Blues in Dallas TX, and to be quite honest, I have never been so intranced by the sounds you guys put out. Keep doing what you do and show your fans some more of your artistic juices. Keep it grooven.

Hey– great review. Really in-depth look at the album. I’m assuming you thought it was better than Censored Colors? Though I can’t agree (to be honest, I was a bit letdown by this one in comparison with last year’s and Church Mouth, specifically), your write-up has allowed me to look at it a bit differently.

man i have to say im pretty disappointed with this review. its pretty much just comparing the new album to every other washed up band that has ever existed. who cares if they send a smidgen like pixies with a little blur stacked ontop of ween and oasis. what? nothing but disrespect comparing portugal the man to ween. from what ive heard of the album, its phenomenal and thats all that needs to be said.

never have i wanted an album and band to gain the notoriety it deserves as much as this one.

they are coming over to my small town of london next month, and playing a venue called “the social”, where i have been a few times – it is absolutely tiny, it’s like an oversized corridor. 150-200 people at a push – it’s heartbreaking.

Sorry, but management wanted them down. I thought I could get away with it for a little bit. Album isn’t out until July, so they felt it was a little early for Mp3′s to be floating around.

The band did, however, post one of the two songs I had up here, “People Say,” onto their MySpacepage.

Great review, I really can’t wait for the album, I expect it to be something a little different than the Portugal of old, but just as amazing.. After getting to hear the recorded version of ‘people say’ I’m even more excited, it was superb, And I assume it only gets better from there.. Can’t wait..
